Shannon and Kane chose me to be an elopement wedding photographer at their wedding in Split, Croatia. However, let’s start from the beginning. Our first contact was via Skype video call since they are from Australia. We talked about every tinny detail and my process for their elopement wedding. I knew we would have a good connection. It was a hot summer day in June. The streets of Split were full of tourists, and you could hear the sound of seagulls in the distance. After the bride and groom’s preparations, we stroll through the old part of town along the side of Diocletian’s Palace. We headed to the Church of St. Jerome from the 15th century, located on the southern slopes of the Marjan peninsula. One of the exciting things about this wedding is that wedding planner Antonia and I was their witnesses. After tasting delicious cake and congratulations to our newlyweds, we moved on with the couple session. Enjoy the story.
